MEO FUNCTION IV

What is the material of inlet and exhaust valves, piston, liner, piston rings, bedplate, A-frame, tie rod, crankshaft, cylinder head, turbocharger?

   

Inlet valve

Seat is stellite coated, valve is nickel based alloy, spindle is nimonic and valve guide is pearlitic cast iron (new engines)
Exhaust valve Seat is stellite coated, valve is nickel based alloy, spindle is nimonic and valve guide is pearlitic cast iron
Liner Modular/ spheroidal cast iron
Piston Alloy steel (Cr+ Ni+ Mn) + INCONEL 625 coating
Piston rings Grey cast iron (carbon+ silicon+ Manganese+ Vanadium+ Tin)
Piston rod Flame hardened cast steel
Cylinder head Grey cast iron
Bedplate Fabricated steel
Crankshaft Low carbon steel (low alloy mild steel)
A Frame Fabricated steel
