Solution –

On 23^{rd} Sept 1992, in EP 480 20’S 1580 46’E, the sextant altitude of the Sun’s LL near the meridian was 410 36.7’ at 01h 11m 16s chron time. If chron error was 11m 04s fast, IE was 3.4’ on the arc and HE was 17m, find the direction of the PL and the lat where it cuts the DR long.
