Rest hour
- In every drill mustering, duty should be arranged such a way that it less hamper rest hour.
- It is checked by ship registry inspector and PSC.
- It is recognized by master.
- It should be onboard for last 3 years.
ILO rest hour : STCW-10 rest hour-both are same
- Minimum hours of rest not less than 10hr in 24hr.
- 77 hours in any 7 day period (next hour)
- Max hours of work not to exceed 14hr in 24 hr.
- 72 hr in any 7 day period. (work hour)
- The hours of rest may be divided into no more than two periods. One should be at least 6 hr in length.
- Interval b/w period shall not exceed 14hrs.
