Fixed pressure water-spraying fire-extinguishing systems
2.1.1 Nozzles and pumps
Any required fixed pressure water-spraying fire-extinguishing system in machinery spaces shall be provided with spraying nozzles of an approved type.
220.127.116.11 The number and arrangement of the nozzles shall be to the satisfaction of the Administration and shall be such as to ensure an effective average distribution of water of at least 5 L/m2/min in the spaces to be protected. Where increased application rates are considered necessary, these shall be to the satisfaction of the Administration.
