What are factors taken into account during change of flag state or name of ships of ships ?

Following points mentioned below taken into account during change of flag state of ship:-

1. Annual Survey – Class, Load line, Safety Equipment, Safety Construction, Safety Radio, IOPP, DG Endorsement
2. Intermediate Survey possible for certain items
3. Interim Certificates to be issued for all Annual Items surveyed as above.
4. New Call Sign Engraved
5. Surveyor issues a “Change of Name Certificate”
6. Tonnage Certificate endorsed with New Name on 4^th page … Original Name on front page.
7. Make copies of All Old Certificates except for the International Tonnage Certificate which remains on board.
8. Insurance Documents with new name to be obtained……….regards COFR.
9. Initial ISM Survey
10. Endorse Carving Note & Marking Note – Original returned to Singapore
11. New Certificate of registry based on above
12. New Ships Radio License
13. New Order on Druggist
14. New De-ratting Exemption Certificate with new name to be issued.
15. NEW – MMSI, Call Sign, Official No., Sat C Numbers for Radio Technician.
16. IMO Number remains the same.
17. Radio technician to make changes in MMSI on EPIRB and SARTS – Certificate to be issued regards changes. Frequency test on GMDSS to be done by Radio Technician.
18. Commissioning of Sat B & Sat C & Radio Station.
19. New name to be endorsed by Class on SOPEP, Cargo Securing Manual, Stability Booklet, Suez, Panama Certificates, SOLAS Training Manuals.
20. Bell with Ships Name to be ordered.
21. New Articles to be opened along with Memorandum.
22. New OLB, Deck Log Books, New Oil Record Book, New Garbage Book.
23. Computer Programs – Winadmi, Crew Data to be imported.
24. New Confidential Letter
25. SOS & SMOU Blue Certs
26. SOS & SMOU Collective Agreements.
27. Power of Attorney from APMS to take delivery, Protocol of Delivery, Notice of Readiness.
28. Class instructions for Change of Flag from Denmark to Singapore.
29. Order Provisions, Bond and Cash as required.
