What is the regulation for carrying minimum number of life jackets on ship?

The no. and location of life buoys on your ship can always be found in the “fire control and safety plan” of the ship which is always posted on bridge & other conspicuous places.

According to SOLAS CH III, regulation 7.2.3:

Minimum carrying requirements:-

Each person onboard must have his personal life jacket +
Extra life jacket for the watch keepers (bridge & ECR) &
Sufficient number of immersion suits at remotely situated survival craft (exact numbers not mentioned)
Child lifejacket – 10% of total number of passengers or one for each child whichever is more
