(iii) Quick charging :-
It is charging with high current for short period of time to change the battery. It is generally done if the battery has been discharge heavily.
(iv) Boost charging :-
It is partial charge of the storage battery, usually at high current rate for a short period.
(v) Trickle charging :-
It is used where the battery rarely gets discharged. It continuous keeps on replenishing discharge energy, In tickle charging equipments are not connected. During charging specified gravity of the electrolyte start going up.
