- Equipment of the survival craft and life-saving appliances
- Precaution and launching of survival craft
- Preparations of life saving appliances
- Muster of passengers
- Use of communication equipment
- Manning of fire parties
- Special duties assigned to use fire fighting equipment and installations
- Specify officer assigned to ensure life saving and fire appliances maintained in good condition and ready for immediate use.
- Specify substitute for key persons who may become disabled.
- Shall be prepared before proceeds to sea.
