Renewal Survey ISPP
External examination to confirm the satisfactory condition of the equipment & installation and the absence of any unauthorized modification.
Check of equipment in working condition to verify satisfactory operation including the working of indicators & pressure gauges.
Verification that the correct type of disinfectant is being used and that sufficient stock is available on board.
In case of Chlorine based disinfectant, verification of records for periodical monitoring of residual Chlorine content in treated effluents as per equipment manufacture’s instructions.
Verification of log entries/records for periodic maintenance of equipment including the last date of inspection by ship’s personnel and the condition of protective linings as recorded by them. Where applicable, the verification of log entries to include records of sewage discharges at sea/to reception facilities.
