What are the markings on containers?

 The containers are mark on the side and the end walls with:

1. Container number: 6 digits followed check digits in square.
2. Container owner or leasco.
3. Classification society label for type testing.
4. ISO code (country size type code)
5. Container code: it consists of four letters and four numbers e.g. MOLU 2210
6. Gross weight: total weight of the container ( tare weight + pay load weight)
7. Tare weight: weight of the container body.
8. Pay load weight: maximum load that can be packed.
9. Cube: maximum volume that can be packed.
10. CSC plate(container safety convention)
11. ASEP certification plate(approved continuous examination program)
12. Custom seal.
