Wt of Anchor + Weight of Chain =48 MT
Weight of chain = 48 –16.125 MT = 31.8 MT
Mtrs of chain = 31.8 / .18478 = 108.65 / 27.5 = 3.94 Shackles.
Therefore :
Max safe anchoring depth = 3.94 X 27.5 = 108.3 MTRS
