ALL  LSA
  • Sustain Air temp -30C to +65C

LIFEBUOY
  • DIA –400mm TO 800mm
  • WEIGHT  not less than 2.5 kgs [For quick release buoys – sufficient weight to activate the system]
  • Support 14.5 Kgs iron in fresh water for 24Hrs
  • Sustain being engulfed in fire for 2 seconds
  • Sustain drop into water from at least 30m or from greater height if stowed higher

  • Provision shall be made for marking each liferaft with the name and port of registry of the ship to which it is to be fitted, in such a form that the ship identification can be changed at any time without opening the container.
