What information would we find on a ‘docking plan’?

  1. Side elevation of the vessel, showing basic arrangement for centre-line blocks.
  2. Plan view showing support arrangement for docking condition.
  3. Arrangement for docking with 50% , 100% bunkers.
  4. Docking block area.
  5. Maximum load per block at locations.
  6. Cautionary remarks ie. number of liquid to be carried in the following tanks.
  7. Block Pressure calculations.
  8. Maximum amount of liquid never to be exceeded.
  9. Table of paint areas, flat bottom, bottom – bootop, Bootopping, topsides, rudder.
  10. Position of drainholes
