What are regulations for Isolation Valve on ships as per SOLAS ?

On oil carriers and fuel oil carriers, requires additional isolation valves to be fitted in the fire main at the poop front in a protected position and on the tank deck at intervals not more than 40 m to isolate damaged sections of the fire main.

These isolation valves should be located immediately forward of any hydrant position which will allow the ability to isolate a damaged portion of the main forward of a hydrant and still be able to use the closest intact hydrants.
